We are delighted to announce that Winsor has joined the elite of the UK furniture world by becoming an accredited supplier to the Minerva Furnishers Guild, the dynamic buying group that represents over 110 independent furniture retailers throughout the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland. As members, we will be exhibiting at Minerva’s forthcoming trade exhibition on the 18th and 19th October in Telford, Shropshire and will be showcasing our popular Isabel (top) and Stockholm (below) collections as shown below.

The Isabel collection brings timeless and classic French chic to the bedroom, making it the perfect choice for those looking to create a contemporary look with a sense of peace, relaxation and tranquility.

Featuring a subtle paint finish using a muted cream palette, the collection features flowing serpentine curves and hand carved delicate patterns, coupled with traditional techniques including dovetailed joint and hand construction.

The Stockholm dining and occasional, and the new bedroom collection appeals to those buyers looking for a collection that oozes modern and minimal clean lines.

The collection is crafted in solid oak and oak veneers and features soft rounded corners and elegantly swept curved components that make it very pleasing on the eye.

Our accreditation from Minerva recognises the fact that the team already fulfil the Guilds aim of providing furniture that represents stylish design, good craftsmanship and incredible value.

Mark Devany, Managing Director of Winsor said, “We are really pleased to have become members of the Minerva Furnishers Guild, it’s a great opportunity to work with retail members who share the Winsor ethos of good design, high quality and outstanding customer service.”

Rob completes Great North Run

Congratulations to Robert Wennington, one of our cabinetmakers for completing the Great North Run. He completed it in 1hr 36mins – a personal best and he helped raise much needed funds for the Foxwood Special School in Warrington. He chose to raise money for the school as his wife works there and knows the difficulties faced by the school in providing the correct equipment and support. A really worthwhile cause and everyone at Winsor is very proud of him.
